Authorized Body, Certification Body

The subject of the activity is to assess the conformity and certification of established and undetermined products from incineration and desulphurization products.

The main activity of the Authorised Body 242 is focused on the certification of selected commodities of building products from technologically modified products after coal incineration and products from variable desulphurization processes of energy and heating resources in the Czech Republic.

The activity of the Certification Body No. 3066 is equally important in the area of state testing. The status of the certification authority was granted to VÚHU Inc. in 1999 by the Czech Institute for accreditation, PBC. after a successful completion of eligibility examinations. In 2014, the Certification Body No. 3066 applied the requirements of ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17065 Conformity assessment - Requirements for authorities that certify products, processes and services into its system and was successfully accredited according to this standard.

Code of Ethics for the accredited or certified persons
On 28th March 2008, The Czech Institute for Accreditation, PBC. has publicly announced a Code of Ethics for the accredited or certified persons. A Code of Ethics is a document to which all accredited or certified persons may sign up at the discretion of their decision. These are mostly commitments that go beyond the obligations laid down in generally binding legal regulations and international standards. The Brown Coal Research Institute Inc. was among the first five subjects to join the code and participated in its ceremonial signing.
